Had THE best time at The Forbidden Fruit last night. The bar was full, everyone dancing and joining in with the karaoke, The Drag Event was lots of fun, highly amusing .... thank you Drag with No Name. Loved your Melania Trump section Great Atmosphere and the staff are the friendliest I've come across. Love this place!!
We went to the quiz night for the time it was absolutely brilliant, the quiz master was great, very clear, question's were a really good mix. The service at the bar is excellent very friendly and helpful and the music is great. Will definitely be going again.

Last Saturday,12/1/25 my friends and I had the pleasure of attending a performance by the talented artist Sandra Drag artist at the enchanting Forbidden Fruit venue. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the warm and welcoming atmosphere created by the amazing staff. It truly felt like a safe haven, allowing everyone to fully immerse themselves in the experience. For my two friends, this was a first-time venture into the world of live music, and I couldn’t have been more thrilled to share it with them. Despite being in the 55 age group, they were absolutely captivated by the energy of the night, cheering and dancing alongside me. Their enthusiasm has left them eagerly anticipating our next outing! I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to the incredible staff and everyone involved for making it such a memorable evening. If anyone is looking for a fantastic place to enjoy live music, I highly recommend Forbidden Fruit. Many events are free, and even those that have a ticket price are worth every penny for the wonderful atmosphere and sense of community. It’s a place where you can truly feel at home.
We had Sunday lunch/ roast dinner. it was plentiful. very generous offerings. delicious lamb. roast potatoes fluffy. lovely home made Yorkshires that are massive and tasty. chicken, beef and lamb option with mixed meats and veggie option. plus desserts. staff very attentive. nothing was to much trouble. very welcoming and homely feeling. we also have been to the quiz which ive seen always buzzing . lots of people enjoying themselves. littles prizes along the game and big prize at the end. we will be back for lunch soon!
